Brad Golden, b. 1983, is an artist and designer exploring the intersection of objects and experience. His studies of Psychology at the University of Colorado at Boulder inform his curiosity to how we relate to our surroundings. Brad worked for Herman Miller as a Design Consultant facilitating design sessions that tap into the psychology of how people interact with their environments. An avid surfer in Long Beach, CA he has always felt a deep connection to nature.
His work’s medium of wood is an extension of the great respect for the wisdom found in trees. Each piece of wood is unique and shares a different expression of time that mirrors the human experience.
Brad is a self-taught artist and makes each piece by hand in his studio in Long Beach, CA. He enjoys celebrating the imperfections discovered in the process.
